Exploring the South

 

 

DAY 01.

Arrival at Agadir al Massira airport. Welcome and transfer to the hotel .

Dinner & accommodation at the hotel in Agadir .

 

DAY 02.

Breakfast and departure to Ouarzazate . On the way , the visit of Taroudant city is programmed . Then continuation via Taznakht until Ouarzazate .

DAY 03.

Breakfast and departure to Zagora, the last big settlement before the endless sand sea of the Sahara desert .

During this trip we will cross an attractive landscape composed by palms and oasis .

DAY 04.

Breakfast and continuation to Merzouga via Tazzarine and Er-Rissani . On the way to Merzouga, the road crosses the pre-saharian desert with its magnificent landscapes and numerous berbere villages where time has stood still .

The most magic sunset is waiting for us at Merzouga that we wish to admire it as longer as possible.

DAY 05.  

Early morning , the sunrise offers us an unforgettable moment of life , by its splendour .   

After breakfast , the tour heads to Tinghir via Erfoud and Tinejdad . 

The afternoon is devoted to the exploration of Todghra canyons with its towering rocks .

Continuation to Ouarzazate along the Dades river , while crossing Boumalen village famous by its roses culture .

DAY 06

Breakfast and departure to Marrakech . Driving on the national road, passing by the high atlas and crossing the Tizin Tichka pass (2260 meters) , after visiting the Kasbah of Ait Benhadou , the best preserved Kasbah of morocco and actually under UNESCO protection . The Kasbah has served as decor for several films like for example : Laurence of Arabia.

Upon arriving to Marrakech , we start our visit of the historical city. The visit includes the Menara garden , the Saadian tombs , the Bahia palace and the Koutoubia .  

Afternoon , visit of the famous Djemaa el Fna square with its surrounding souks and handcraft quarters .

DAY 07

Breakfast and departure to Agadir , via Chichaoua . During this we will remark that the Arganian tree which is the major element of this area .

When arriving to Agadir , we will have the orientation tour of Agadir with its Souk , Kasbah and residential area .

DAY 08

Breakfast and transfer to the airport for the returning flight .
